Last night the presentation cocktail of the candidates for Miss Guyana 2022 was held at Guyane Automobile, in the Terca area.
We present the 9 title contenders individually.

Passionate about modeling, I have been involved in Fashion Week for almost 5 years and I also practice competitive handball in the Macouria Ara club.
Energetic by nature, I am determined to pursue my projects and to invest myself in all the causes I advocate.
My philosophy of life is to bring my help to my neighbor so that we all evolve together.

“I am currently in the final STSS and I want to do a study-work program to get my patent as a pharmacy preparer.
Later I would love to start a family, but above all I would like to broaden my horizons by traveling, discovering new cultures.
In my free time I like to be on social networks or even practice a sport, such as athletics.
Being a kind, ambitious and determined person, loyalty is a very important value for me.
The cause I want to defend? Trisomy is the number one cause of developmental delay of genetic origin. Down syndrome is a disability that affects many people and I would like to make this difference better known.

“Currently in the general terminal class, my goal is to undertake a BTS accounting management for work study to become an auditor.
I have been playing basketball since the age of 15, this discipline has developed my fighting spirit and my determination. It is a daily resource: surpassing myself to succeed in everything I do is a challenge for me.
A cause that is close to my heart? Adoption, because many children dream of a family they are not lucky enough to have.

“In the second year of the preparatory course for the Grandes Ecoles Scientifiques (CPGE), I aspire to become an airline pilot to help open up my territory.
Epicurean, dynamic and optimistic: for me the sky remains the most beautiful place on Earth! Passionate about aviation, I am currently a pilot student.
As sport contributes to my physical and mental balance, I am licensed from the Montjoly table tennis club. I also did track and field.
I uphold values ​​such as loyalty, fairness and justice because they are essential for social cohesion.
The cause that is close to my heart is access to studies for young people from remote communities. The latter, in fact, see their dreams and their future hampered by the distance and the lack of housing. Having experienced this, I hope to be a source of motivation for the young people of Guyana.

One of them will take the place of Mélysa Stéphenson, elected Miss Guyana 2021 and who qualified in the top 15 of the elections of Miss France 2022 on 11 December 2021.
