What’s new for The Lycra Company customers?
World leader in the development of innovative solutions for the textile and personal care sector, LYCRA today announces a new phase of expansion of its LYCRA ONE ™ online network, the result of collaboration with the Swiss and Moroccan teams of SQLI. As part of the continuous improvement of the global textile brand offering, the new online customer portal connects brands, retailers and manufacturers with a global network of factories via a convenient platform focused on the science of comfort, fit and performance.
The Covid-19 pandemic has revealed new customer needs

One of the requirements of this project was to define and build a global digital ecosystem, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week around the world, including China. It involved integrating Drupal / Acquia, an agile content management system platform, with LYCRA’s customer relationship management (Salesforce) and digital asset management (Widen) systems. The new architecture has allowed the company to:
- Consolidate all LYCRA brands in one place;
- Simplify your IT environment and relieve the IT department of system management and security activities, thanks to the Acquia Cloud infrastructure and services;
- Facilitate the integration of content and accelerate the work of its sales teams;
- Having a solid and scalable foundation to develop its future digital services.
An international collaboration
SQLI and LYCRA have decided to work closely together by sharing the recognized skills and experiences of each company. An Agile method was implemented, with a customer-side Product Owner, who defined priorities and a continuous delivery cycle.
The two teams thus benefited from great flexibility and excellent reactivity.
Thanks to the initiatives of both teams, the LYCRA ONE ™ portal now offers a knowledge center where users can view exclusive content such as webinars, white papers and videos on new fiber technologies, industry trends, marketing, sustainable development, etc. .
