Vista, the design and marketing partner of millions of VSE / SMEs worldwide, announces a partnership with DRP on 1uh French event dedicated to the culture of the drop from 23 to 25 June 2022 at the Grand Palais Éphémère.
Between festival and giant concept store, DRP is the meeting point for communities of fashion, sneakers, gaming, sports, music, food and metaverse enthusiasts.
Vista joins forces with the DRP festival to celebrate the values of drop culture: limited editions, rarity, item customization and unbridled creativity! As a leader in product customization and bringing together a community of thousands of graphic designers, Vista naturally finds its place in this innovative environment.
As part of this partnership, Vista will support DRP through four operations:
· The edition of his magazine OWEN.DRP, a new culture & lifestyle magazine – distributed during the event, in Paris art libraries and on newsstands
· The creation of a City Guide in which small shops, restaurants, cafes, sneaker shops, etc. will be presented. who bring the culture of the drop to life in Paris and participate in the richness of neighborhood life
· The creation of an exclusive “merch” capsule collection for the event in collaboration with renowned Street Art artists
· And finally… the possibility of living a totally immersive experience because for the first time Vista invests the metaverse with DRPville created by DRP and launched at the end of the festival.
“I am very excited to have Vista participate in the DRP drop culture event. Because it is above all the celebration of creativity expressed on all media: from basketball, to t-shirts, obviously passing through derivative products … In recent years we have witnessed a paradigm shift, as even the great designers are embracing this movement to customize objects by creating limited editions. ” says Sabine Leveiller, General Manager of Vista France.
She pursues “It is also thanks to the wealth of local initiatives that we can organize this type of events, and that is why Vista wanted to highlight the small businesses that animate this culture every day, be it art, fashion or catering with a selection of addresses to consult in our City Guide published for the occasion. “
View for the first time in the metaverse with Vista House available in DRPville
DRPville was born in this way to rediscover the entire universe of the physical event but in a digital version available all year round with different functions depending on the choice of his avatar. This 2D version, also available on mobile, will be launched at the end of the festival. It will allow visitors to continue the DRP adventure by meeting and participating in treasure hunts that will give access to exclusive products.
As part of the Vista x DRP partnership, the physical space of Vista House will also be digitized. Visitors can go there for free to discover the exclusive “merchandising” collection created by Vista (t-shirt, sweet-shirt, water bottle, etc.) and many other surprises: mini-games, exclusive playlists, digital exhibitions … There will also be some small traders mentioned in the City Guide.
“ With DRP, which combines both the physical and digital spheres, we also want to offer a different experience dedicated to our communities. For the first time ever Vista is investing the metaverse through Vista House: this concept store dedicated to “derivatives” is the perfect illustration of what we are already doing for the small businesses we support. Thanks to this interface, it is also a new way to interact with our audience. A very exciting challenge! “ says Sabine Leveiller.
